Belfast Born - McConnells Sherry Cask

Overall Winner for Irish Blended Whiskey (Age Statement) in both 2023 and 2024! This blended Irish whiskey is aged for 5 years in select Bourbon barrels and then finished in the finest Oloroso Sherry Casks which bring out rich aromas of dried figs, dark chocolate, and lingering spice.

Aromas (without water) Dried figs and currants followed by Christmas spices such as nutmeg and cinnamon, dark chocolate, and a hint of fresh leather.

Flavour Demerara sugar, dark ripe cherries and black raspberry followed by bitter dark chocolate shavings and rich red apples.

Finish Lingering oak notes, with a hint of leather and subtle clove spice.
